3.2. Service-Specific Terms 

  1. Manufacturing of Jewelry
  • Delivery: Delays may occur due to suppliers, freight, or client delays. Tracking information provided post-dispatch.
  • Indemnity: Clients indemnify KGK Jewelry Botswana against damages/losses beyond our control.
  • Payment Terms: 50% deposit for custom orders. No refunds for cancelled special orders.
  1. Jewelry Repairs
  • General Terms: Deposit may apply. Cancellation fees for non-special orders. Risk transfers post-delivery.
  • Warranty: 3-month warranty on new/reconditioned parts (voided by misuse or third-party alterations).
  1. Online Orders
  • Accuracy: Product images/sizes may vary. Confirm availability before purchase.
  1. Purchases and Payments

4.1. Payment Methods

  • Visa, MasterCard, Union Pay, PayPal, or bank transfer into KGK Jewelery Botswana’s account (BWP/USD).

4.2. Payment Terms

  • Late payments incur 2% monthly interest. Debt collection costs apply.
  • Botswana courts handle disputes (Magistrate Court for ≤BWP 100,000; High Court for larger claims).

 

4.3. Responsibility

  • We manage transactions, delivery, customer support, and dispute resolution.
  1. Returns and Refunds
  • Returns within 7 days if unused, in original packaging, with proof of purchase.
  • No returns for items damaged by the client.
  1. Cancellation Policy
  • 50% deposit for custom orders. Cancellation fees apply based on notice period and labour/materials used.
  1. Ethical Sourcing and Compliance
  • Conflict-Free Diamonds: Adherence to World Diamond Council guidelines. No diamonds from Russia/Zimbabwe’s Marange/Mbada.
  • Responsible Metals: Gold/silver sourced from RJC-certified suppliers.
  • Labor/Environment: No child/forced labour. Commitment to waste reduction and resource conservation.

8.1. Customer Privacy 

  • Personal data protected under Botswana’s Data Protection Act (2024).
